We need to work together from the ground to Territory and Commonwealth levels to adequately respond to the threat of Buffel grass

The current decision making process NT:

The Buffel Technical working group was formed in May 2023 in response to the growing fire risks in the central desert. ALEC is concerned that their recommendations won’t go far enough to protect the red centre from this invasive weed. You can read ALEC’s submission here
