Battery Energy Storage System Guided Tour

Come celebrate World Environment Day by participating in a tour of the new 5 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Alice Springs.

Join Territory Generation engineers to learn how the battery works and what role it will play in managing Alice Springs current and future energy mix as we transit towards a renewable energy future.

This event is sponsored by Inspiring Australia in conjunction with Territory Generation, Repower Alice Springs and the Arid Lands Environment Centre.

Date: Tuesday, 5th June

Time: Tours run between 11.30am and 1pm. RSVPs essential.

Location: Alice Springs Council lawns, meet at the Repower marquee to catch the bus.

Site Induction: Territory Generation will conduct a face-to-face safety induction prior to commencement of each site tour.

What to wear? A hat plus a long sleeved shirt and pants plus covered shoes. Territory Generation will provide Hi-Vis vests.

RSVPs are essential due to limited numbers.
