Avocados in the desert? Our submission to the 40,000 megalitre water license application

Fortune Agribusiness applied for a 40,000 megalitre water licence to develop irrigated fruit and vegetable crops on Singleton Station, including avocados, a highly water intensive crop.

ALEC made a submission calling for the refusal of the water licence and requested the application be referred to the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority.
