- Launch of the Arid Lands Outback Trek

Join the Arid Lands Environment Centre for lunch and the launch of the Arid Lands Outback Trek, a fundraising adventure for ALEC on the Larapinta Trail in June 2019.

With a talk by local Arrernte Elders on the historical campaign to protect Junction Waterhole.

BBQ provided by ALEC. Walk to Wigleys Gorge leaves at 1.30pm.

Walk is approximately 5kms. Please bring a hat, water bottle, sun protective clothing and walking shoes. 

Walkers can chose to walk back to Telegraph Station or catch the ALEC bus to return.
