The NT government have published the draft management plan for buffel grass and are now accepting public comment via a survey. The Arid Lands Environment Centre have significant concerns about this plan, specifically regarding a proposed industry wide permit for pastoral leases which will allow buffel grass to spreads unregulated on 45% of the NT.
