October 7 is the #StopAdani Big Day of Action
Meet at the Arid Lands Environment Centre for a lunchtime meeting on Tuesday 26th September at 12pm to organise an Alice Springs response to the Big Day of Action.
There will be actions all over Australia to pressure politicians to #StopAdani.
This campaign is huge! Treasurer Scott Morrison thinks it’s funny to wave coal around in Parliament. Immigration Minister Peter Dutton cracks jokes about rising seas in the Pacific. Labor leader Bill Shorten says he “supports the Adani mine so long as it stacks up.” However the community are clearly saying no to this polluting coal mine and are demanding a renewable energy future.
