The School Strike For Climate was an inspiring event, with more than 200 local students and supporters gathering on March 15th here in Alice Springs. 150,000 people took to the streets across Australia, joining millions around the world, to fight for our future and demand climate action.

Despite local and national detractors, trying to suggest that school students were being manipulated by environmental groups, the messages on the signs and the students voices were pretty clear - they care about their future and want to see leaders taking action on climate. Well done to the students and supporters for standing up for climate action.
