Get involved with the first Community Working Bee to help prepare the ground for the new Community Garden at the Centralian Middle School being built as part of the Community Garden network ALEC is working on for Alice Springs. 

Students at the Centralian Middle School are excited to have a garden at their school, and have been growing seedlings in preparation! But there's lots of rewarding work that must be done before their plants can go in the ground.

So please come and help us get this new Community Garden site ready for planting.

We'll be cleaning up rubbish on the site, clearing buffel and couch grass and getting the site ready for the next steps. 

Wear sturdy covered shoes. Bring a water bottle, gloves and appropriate tools if you have some. We will have some gloves, mattocks and rake hoes for use on the day. 

Free breakfast and lunch for volunteers - must RSVP before Friday!
