Change The Story Workshop

Join the Australian Conservation Foundation for a hands-on workshop in Alice Springs to learn how you can tell compelling stories that move people to action.  10am Andy McNeill Room, ASTC August 25, 2018.

Over the past few years, we’ve been cooking up an exciting new campaign to change the story, guided by research from communications, psychology, academia and campaigning. We'd love to share it with you.

The workshop will look at how, together, we can:

  • Change the story
  • Use compassionate values that inspire people to care and act
  • Frame challenges as people-made and solvable
  • Tell emotionally compelling stories
  • Use the power of narrative to capture the public imagination with our shared vision for the future.

This workshop is for change makers, storytellers, collaborators, creatives, communicators, organisers and people who care, from all corners of civil society.

The workshop is free but places are limited – make sure you RSVP!

We would appreciate an optional $20 contribution on the day for a copy of our narrative handbook and morning tea.
