PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the novel coronavirus Covid19 pandemic and the need for us to ensure physical distance to reduce the risk of transmission and impact of the virus, we have decided to postpone this event until a later date. Apologies for any inconvenience.
This June we’re celebrating 40 years since the of the Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) was incorporated.
To celebrate the 40 years of activism, conservation and community engagement we’re putting on a weekend to remember.
On the afternoon of Sunday the 14th, we’re organising a laid back pizza party at the Community Garden to gather together, chat, eat and remind ourselves of why we do the work that we do and how we can take ALEC forward into the next decade.
There will be music, some activities for the kids, and a garden tour.
Where: Alice Springs Community Garden
When: 1-5pm, 14 June 2020
