Alice Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant Open Day

What happens to the water that we flush down the toilet or wash down the sink? Join Power and Water experts for a walk through the Alice Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant to learn about where our water comes from, how our water is safely treated and reused and the importance of Alice Springs being Water Smart. This event forms part of National Water Week activities and is sponsored by Inspiring Australia in conjunction with Power and Water and the Arid Lands Environment Centre. 

Date: Saturday 21st October.

Time: 8am, 10am. (9am time slot booked out)

Location: Access via Commonage Road, Ilparpa, NT.

Site Induction: PWC will conduct a face to face safety induction prior to commencement of each site tour.

Conditions: Children under 10 years of age are not able to participate in the site tours.

What to wear? A hat plus a long sleeved shirt and pants. PWC will provide Hi-Vis vests.
